Cut-Out Boots- Socks

So, this is a bit of a random post but recently I have been getting very bored of wearing plain black socks with my topshop adonis boots and wanted to switch it up. Here are a few sock ideas that could transform your boots weather they are cut out or just your regular ankle boot.

1.Glitter Socks

pic borrowed from fated to be hated
I love how glitter socks look and very on trend for this season.
Urban outfitters sell them for £8 but get them here for under £1.50

2.Frilly Socks

pic borrowed from undercover dress up lover
I have always loved the way frilly socks look with any shoes but I can imagine they would look extra cool with cut out boots and give that sort of preppy vibe.
Buy here on ebay for £2.50

3.Fishnet socks

These socks will give your cut out boots a real grunge vibe which I think would look really cool. Maybe not very practical for winter as they don’t look particularly warm, but its all for fashion, right?
Buy em here for £1.99

Hope you guys liked this post, something a little different on my blog, tell me what you think

As I was getting my daily dose of YouTube (my favorites being: beautycrush, sunbeamjess, lulutrixabelle, fashionrocksmysocks and clothesencounters) I saw this video by itsmyrayeraye showing how to make a top from a pair of tights, frikin genius idea, I have been looking for a short of sheer long sleeve crop top and volila whack out my old pair of tights and I got just what I wanted. I would recommend going and watching her videos shes suppper cool, beautiful and has amazing style. Anyway, what do you guys think of my tights top?
I have also been trying to wear my floppy hat recently but I feel a bit silly wearing it when its not sunny, thoughts? Is it weird to wear a supposed ‘sunhat’ when its not sunny?

I have also updated my blog shop so please go check it out, loooads of stuff. Prices starting at £2 and I can ship internationally:

I have wanted a black maxi skirt for quite a while now and I saw this one from ebay for a fiver and I thought hey why not. I bought it about a month ago and had no idea how to wear it, and tried it on again and again and just didn't like it but yesterday most of my jeans and skirts were in the wash so I thought I would bring it out the closet again and see if I could style it up, and now I love it. Its sooo comfy and so fun to wear. I got a few looks wearing it to college yesterday but hey I like it.

Just a couple of items I have bought over the last month or so, I bought the tartan trousers last week after I saw them on Amy's blog (go check out her blog, shes fab!) and thought I could maybe pull them off… I don’t think so. I was really excited about them arriving but they just didn’t suit me and the sizing is a bit weird, they are tight all over other than the waist and the ankles so they just look a bit weird. Bit of a shame, and a waste of £3.50 on postage!

I got sent this gorgeous jumper a few weeks ago from Oasap and I lovvvvvvvvvvvve it, its really warm and cosy and I feel very sheepy in it. I have a fancy dress party next weekend and the theme is ‘American’ so its basically dress up as anything american: food, celebrities, characters etc. I have no idea what to go as and dont want to do the whole stereotypical cheerleader thing, Any ideas? Please send em my way. Or tweet me: @ttigerlillly

I thought I would share some of my favourite jewellery as I never tend to do close ups on the jewellery that I usually wear on outift posts. Overall I think I’m starting to steer more towards silver jewellery as I think it looks better on me but then again I’m loving mixing gold and silver at the moment.

(Camo top: Jumble Sale, Denim waist coat: Charity shop, Dress & Sunnies: H&M, Boots: Topshop)

I’m sure most of you will be fed up with the camo trend this autumn, but I wasn’t really into the whole camo jackets thing as everyone and their grandma has one but as I was searching through my wardrobe the other day I found this camo shirt that I bought at the jumble sale about a year ago, its actually an action man age 5-6 outfit and came with matching trousers (which I cut into shorts) and I thought hey this would look good! Under the denim waistcoat there is a big orange ‘action man’ sign hehe.
What do you guys think about the camo trend?

(Fur coat: H&M, Black Jeans: Cheap Monday, Boots: Topshop)

It is feeerreezzzing here in the UK today, luckily I bought this fur coat about a week ago and it was perfect for the weather that is approaching. I originally wanted a black fur coat but I saw this cream/tan one and thought it went really well with my topshop cut out boots so I had to get it! It was £35 which I think is pretty darn reasonable, thanks h&m you never dissapoint.
