So this was my 18th birthday outfit, it was so frikin hot in Paris that it was impossible to wear anything that covered your legs, arms and basically your whole body so this was what I came up with for coping in the 30 degree heat. I tried on basically this exact skirt in american apparel just before I went to Paris and was quite close to buying it until I came to my senses and realized £50 for a really simple skirt was plain ol’ stupid. I stumbled across this skirt in the cutest little vintage shop owned by the cutest man and the pricing in there was incredible and really top notch quality vintage. I will do a post on it next. It was the best vintage shop I've ever been to and its really worth a visit if you are ever in Paris.

(Hat: Oasap, Dress: Vintage from paris, Belt: Charity Shop, Bag: Zara Sale, Gladiator Sandals: Topshop)
I have wanted to go to Paris for so long and boy did it give live up to my expectations, everything was just so perfect. The architecture is unbelievably beautiful, the metros were weirdly clean and empty, the people were uber friendly and overall it was one of the best birthday treats I've ever received. I am currently sat at home wishing I was still in Paris. The only thing I found was the complete lack of stylish people, I saw maybe 10 moderately stylish people in 2 and a half days, whats that about? I thought Paris was one of the fashion capitals of the world. Maybe I was just in the wrong area. But all in all, I couldn’t have had a better trip so big shout out to my wonderful mother for the best 18th birthday present a girl to ask for. I love you mum x

Okay, lets talk about these shoes. Like most shoes, there is a story behind them. I saw them online about a month ago and needed them, I’ve always been a fan of flatforms and the leather criss cross detail just made them about 100x better than any other flatfroms I had ever seen. So as you do, I tweeted about them and how I was going to get them as an after exam treat to myself for the following week. So my exams came and went and I got home, went on topshop.com and they were sold out. Can you imagine my disappointment after wanting them for weeks? Lucky per usual eBay saved the day and I won these for £20 cheaper than on topshops website. Hurrah!! The only problem is, as beautiful as they are, they are a nightmare to walk in, I can’t do it, I’m going to practice practice practice practice all summer long. By the time I master the walk it will probably be to cold to wear them…
P.s expect to see some changes on fashion rush very soon

Fiiinaly a blog post. Sorry for the long delay, life has been getting in the way, as it does. I went shopping for the first time in about 5 months the other day (pretty impressive for a fashion blogger, right?) and stopped off at zara. I have actually never bought anything from zara but other people always manage to find amazing things and then when I go in there I find nothing, however when I went in there the other day I found this beaut bomber jacket and had to buy it, the colours are so bright and seeing as I only ever wear black I thought this was a nice little jacket to go along with my head to toe black outfits and brighten them up a bit.
